Controls Group North America Welcomes New President, Sarah Monteleone

Sarah Monteleone succeeds Michael J. Sackett, who will retain his role as the CFO for the foreseeable future. 

“I am honored to join CGNA as the new President,” says Sarah Monteleone. “As someone who has been involved with this amazing network for many years, I’m looking forward to taking on this new role and I am excited to build upon the great work that so many people have done before me.” 

Sarah’s leadership appointment is part of a rigorous and comprehensive search from the board of directors and advisors. The CGNA leadership team is excited to work with Sarah as the HVACR Controls and Building Automation Systems network continues its focus on accelerating growth and new opportunities. 

Sarah Monteleone holds a B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Charleston. and has extensive experience in the HVAC/R and BAS industry. The established relationships she has developed over the years and her understanding of the CGNA network will significantly benefit the organization.

Prior to this role, Sarah Monteleone was recruited by Honeywell as Business Development Executive focused on launching a new solution. Sarah also served as Vice President of Sales at Connect Air Wire & Cable and Sales Manager and National Accounts for Functional Devices.

Michael Sackett, expressed confidence in the board’s choice. “I am very happy with the board of directors’ choice. Sarah is a remarkable executive with years of industry experience and knows many of the leaders in our industry. Sarah was introduced to CGNA as a Preferred Vendor at Functional Devices. She has a deep understanding of our industry and how to succeed within our network.”
