Based in Chicago, Illinois, South Side Control Supply Co. (SSCSC), was founded as South Side Electric Supply Co. during WWII, as a means to buy copper wire by Victor Jensen, an electrician.
SSCSC is now a leading distributor of HVAC controls, building automation systems and design, refrigeration, and service parts. SSCSC has 11 locations based in the Chicago area covering central Illinois and Indiana.
